The hotel is nice and good for families but I will not go back for my future trips in Gangneung

Confortable Clean Nice people Good facilities in general

Miss of equipment like hair dryer, hand soap holder, bathrope The Ocean view is not so nice and a bit too industrial The pools are expensive compared to the price of the rooms which are already high (44,000 and 27,000KRW)

Nice comfortable rooms.

Pool costs about 30$. Location is fine, there are quite a lot of restaurants around but it's a bus ride to the beach and other things to see.

The staff were kind and accommodating. I also liked how homey the room felt. The view was also great to wake up to in the morning.

The bathroom was stocked with soaps and body washes but I wished body lotion was provided as well.

Nice stay but not a 4 or 5 star experience.

Good location. Breakfast was decent. Hotel was fairly basic. No tea or coffee in the rooms. Nice Balcony. View was o.k. but not spectacular. Bathtub was wonderful. Soaps were very nice.

Neighbors sounded like they were moving furniture. Eggs were cold the first day and only semi warm the second day. Bed was hard. Nothing really around the hotel.

i liked how refreshing is that there is a wide windows that allow you to look at everything and the beach, and the most important thing for me was the big bathroom. staff were fast and very friendly.

what i hated is that the shower was not clean and there was some used tissues and stuff which means they didnt clean it.

Expensive hotel with no service

clean and quiet room

There was no information at all that the pool in the hotel is chargeable. You need to pay extra 44000 won per person to visit a tiny small pool. And the fact that you only find out about it when you check in is disgusting. There was no room service at all. Once leaving the room, we left a message about cleaning, but no one cleaned the room. The staff hardly speaks English. I do not recommend this hotel to visit

What was the highlight of SL Hotel Gangneung

Sufficient albeit disappointing.

The location was really central and easy to find. The bathroom was well sized and clean. Shower pressure was also very good. Overall cleanliness was very good, sheets and towels were crisp white and felt great to the touch.

Granted on booking.com it was stated that swimming pools would be an extra charge (this was also not in the forefront on the hotel page and somewhat hidden away) it was not reiterated when booking in at the hotel on the first night. The English pamphlet given had also not stated that pools use was an extra charge for guests, but that pool was closed. When asked if the pool was closed front desk said, just for the night and we could use it in the morning. When going up to the pool on the 15th floor it was said that access to the somewhat small infinity pool was 44 000 won per person, with a free drink. This is exorbitant for a 2 star accommodation at best. Parking was also not enough and for 2 nights our car was parked off hotel property.

Overall great hotel experience.

The location of the hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. I was really surprised how soft the towels and bath robes were and I loved that in each room you could control your own AC.

I didn't like that in order to use the hotel pools, you had to pay an additional 44,000 won ($34) per person. I feel this should have already been included with your stay.

Bathtub was nice and size of the room and bathroom was nice

The toilet smelled like urine, there were several hairs here and there, no utensils like hairbrush, even after asking

Parking over your car and parking management in general. It is not expected that the hotel will park a car behind yours and you have to wait 15min until they remove it. Poor english skill
